Suffering is the default state for every biological being. Those who enjoy a semblance of peace and brief iterations of something approximating pleasure are the lucky ones among us.
And by “us” I mean every living conscious creature.
This Universe actually hates us and thrusts us into a maelstrom of pain and misery. We are simulacrums forced into disgusting bags of meat and told we must live as though we are actually real.
And we are ensured to be resigned to pure oblivion for eternity. This world is a hateful and terrible pool of unbearable suffering. There is no meaning to anything.

life is a nonstop cycle
being a gift or a suffer
is part of it, the same goes
for sea waves,sun and moon
earthquakes,rain,life and death
happiness and sadness...if you have a static stable life
then youll bring sadness to your doors thus this explains why

Of course life has meaning, why else would you sustain your life with the things you need to live? The West is still dealing with secularism, they have not fully wrapped their heads around this idea. They really only picked it up in the modern era, thousands of years after it was first formalized.
Nihilism is definitely absurd and outdated, if the nihilist is so enlightened and disillusioned then why do they care so much? Why do they sustain their lives with daily rituals and seek out meaning? It's not pragmatic to actually live the belief that all is without meaning because our minds are not built that way. That's where meaning resides, in the mind.
What is the root of suffering? Some would posit that it is desire and attachment. We suffer because we lose or lack the things we desire. I'm fine with suffering for now because I value the attachments I have to the ones I love. I find that life is full of meaning, and a lot of it comes from love and truth.
I find that nihilism is attractive to those faced with disillusionment or the cold nature of industrialized society. It's an easy and simple answer to navigating a life beyond organized religion, but it is ultimately immature, unrealistic, and impractical. I'm not living in 19th century Germany trying to navigate the brave new world of industrialization and material secularism like Nietzsche and pals.Beans. Cleans. Gasoline.

You're actually injecting meaning into our existence by saying the universe willingly brought us to existence and actively wants us to suffer. Pretty much the flip side of saying our intelligence is "proof" that an intelligent being must have created us.
I agree biological survival is painful for all creatures because it requires energy (effort) and there is no meaning to it, but I don't agree at all with any of the steps you took to rationalize it.sig line can't be a novel crew. and I'll be banned if I make it a novel again

no. there are just some people who thrive on misery, others who live to play the victim to get reactions and sympathy out of others, then you have some who just are weak and throw in the towel and wont even raise a finger to try and escape out from under their misery which more times than not is a product of their own doing.
with that said some people are born with the chemicals in their brain or the lack there of and they cant help it.
to blanket statement any group of people based strictly on the actions of one person in that group is the height of stupidity and ignorance"it takes a wise man to know when he is in error and a noble man to admit to it"

Edit: Take comfort in the fact that everything is temporary (both pain and pleasure). Life is an experience--just do your best and don't sweat the small stuff. We're all this experience together (even those we don't get along with--most people are good). Don't think about the future too hard eitherLast edited by simonsaysgoham; 05-09-2021 at 06:11 PM.

You know that death is the most beautiful part of life, right? Death is beautiful because we all fear death. And fear is the most amazing emotion of all because it creates complete awareness. It brings you to now, and it makes you truly present. And when you're truly present, that's nirvana. That's pure love. So death is pure love.
