Yes, you are suppose to wash for 20 seconds with soap.
I believe they did a study where the longer you scrub with soap, the more germs you remove. This is especially important after you do something like take out the trash.

Wash them at the end of my work day with had cleaner in the shop. Never wash them any other time besides the shower.
Other than Covid I have only been sick maybe 3 or 4 times in my adult life. And people I work with that wash their hands all the time are sick 3 or 4 times a year*Onterrible crew*
