So, after suffering from binge eating and other things for a few years I've got my stuff together. I want to compete. I wanna know what's a realistic goal for me! Which contest, which category? I like to keep it "natural" (just creatine).
Right now, I'm a 6ft1inch male, 28 years old. I'm on a 500cal daily caloric deficit save for cheat day (which is 2800 cal) I'm a certified personal trainer and I'm satisfied with how I'm hitting the iron. My current weight is 237lbs. I'm on 200g of protein daily (160g on cheat day).
My plan: cut until I'm 200lbs and then bulk.
I work out for about an hour 15 times a month. I'm also into a daily 1 hour walk or a 40min pleasant eliptical session.

To minimize fat gain during your bulk, use nutrient timing to your advantage. By this, I mean consuming your carbs only after you have worked out when you are most likely to NOT store sugars as fats. This will increase muscle gain while decreasing fat gain. Check a guy name Dr. Jacob Wilson for more on this. He is a doc in Tampa whose research is heavily based on muscle building and fat loss.
