I bought a curl bar, multi purpose bar for rowing and a tricep pushdown bar.
These are nice! I will post a pic later. I am ordering a straight short bar and the rope pushdown bar right now.
I never really saw this stuff on Amazon before. It has really great plating and packaging was good. Arrived with no damage.

Ugh.....I've had the Ivanko rope attachment and curl bar attachment in my amazon cart for a year, and just panicked that they'd sell out or the price would get hiked up greatly over this post.....so I bought both. I'm holding Greybird responsible if these turn out to be garbage. Haha.
I actually love the C3 collars from Ivanko and my 4 pairs of beauty bells, and I love the customer service as well.
I thought most of their stuff was made in China these days? I guess I'll find out soon enough. Lol***Everybody pities the weak....but jealousy, you have to earn!***

If the Ivanko rope isn't great or you just want a longer one, LPG makes great ropes. I've been enjoying mine for a while.

So I got my Ivanko cable attachments delivered today. I should have been much more excited about them arriving, but stress and life are stealing my nightly sleep right now. Maybe I should wrap them back up with a red bow on the box and open them another day when I'm more cheerful and rested??? Lol
The rope isn't too much different from the one I have already, though the ends are way better quality and the chrome end caps with the company's logo are a nice touch. The only thing I knew I might not like about this rope is the fact the rubber end caps are concave on the top (where your pinkie finger rests against), but one of the reviewers mentioned that, so I knew what I was getting into before I placed the order. Another review cinched the deal for me after explaining that the rubber ends don't slip and slide around when they come into contact with each other. I HATE when my current rope does that if I try to use strict form with a close grip. Very annoying!
The Ivanko chrome curl bar has some decent plating and appears to be a high quality piece. Knurling is a little more coarse than I normally prefer (just like the beauty bells I have from Ivanko), but it's certainly not a problem. Knurling is so subjective anyway, everyone has their own opinion for every type of knurl out there. The fact this bar isn't some cheap squeaky POS from CAP is what really matters to me.

I have that LPG rope, it's good quality and I use it quite a bit in my workouts, it works great on face pulls and overhead cable triceps extensions as well as pressdowns due to the extra ROM you get from it.
I've been using my American Barbell cable curl attachment (overseas version) on the widest portion for straight-arm pulldowns and it works great on that movement...I might try the LPG rope on this movement to see how good a stretch I get on it next upper body day.Last edited by Deep-Voiced-One; 05-13-2021 at 08:04 AM.

Don't let the overseas AB attachments fool you, they're every bit as heavy duty and durable as the US made aluminum attachments (I have a few of both).
The overseas are made of steel and heavy while the aluminum are of course lighter and with both eyelets you could probably pull a truck with them...if I had to name a small gripe it would be that the handles on both could be a bit thicker, but other than that I have no complaints with any of my AB attachments.

I appreciate the input. I just figured out for myself that the curl bar attachment works well for straight arm pulldowns.....The knurling isn't even an issue while using the attachment.
Also, forget what I said about the rubber end caps being concave, it's actually a completely nature feel resting your pinkie fingers in the dished area of the rubber end caps. So much going on during the workout that you don't even notice the silly little things that I thought of as a possible hindrance.
Totally stoked with my purchase from Ivanko!***Everybody pities the weak....but jealousy, you have to earn!***

Well the black Ivanko curl bar is nice! 5ft long. Weighs 30 lbs and is 30mm in diameter. Knurling is Ivanko which feels right. Brass bushings on the inside, sleeves are tight, no play, with good spin. The outer grips are 1 1/2 inches wider than my 20 something year old Cap. inner grips are around 3 inches wider than Cap. I have never really liked the inner Cap grips because they are too close. The Cap weighs 17 lbs vs 30 for this one. The only downfall so far would be the black paint. Will see how that holds up over time. The plates I have for this are rubber Body Solid with that rolled SS inner part that goes on the sleeve. Really should not scratch it much at all. 159 bucks seems like a good price for this bar. I have been watching for that Rep Fitness curl bar, but it seems to be made of unobtainium.
Darthcholo. Yes it is made in China. I really am not interested in black oxide or SS curl bar for 400 or 700. This will suit me just fine.. Big step up from my old Cap.Last edited by Greybird2; 05-13-2021 at 12:38 PM.

I used the black Ivanko curl bar today. It is nice! Night and day difference to my old Cap, or newer York bar. The inner grips are wider than the Cap and work great for preachers. My York inner grips are closer than even the Cap. Useless. The York is a newer version with rubber grips. I am not a fan of rubber grips. The wider grips on the Ivanko are the perfect width. The knurling is regular Ivanko which is nice. The sleeves have brass bushings and the weights rotate while lifting which is as it should be. I really like this bar. 30lb and 30mm.
Seems like a deal for $159.Last edited by Greybird2; 05-16-2021 at 01:34 PM.
