    Is 167g protein enough for me losing weight (new to strength training)

    Basically my diet is 167g protein and that’s all I track really calories are 1,900

    I’m 6”0
    197lbs
    23 y.o

    Currently running fierce 5 as I was told it’s one of the good ones for beginners

    Looking to get down to 175lbs I’m wondering I have this protein intake will i still recomp if you will or gain a little muscle along the way as I get leaner? Just don’t want to end up looking like a stick so just want to make sure

    Recomping is a bonus if it happens. No guarantee it will though. I wouldn't recomp on only 1900 calories... it becomes less likely to happen at higher deficits - so it depends how fast you are losing weight.

    167g of protein is OK

    Yes, as others have said. But how do you know you are eating 1900 calories if you are only tracking how much protein you are eating?
