Still massive labor shortages in the US, which will magically disappear when the 18 months of federally subsidized unemployment fades.
Likely hype but I read an article yesterday of likely gas shortages at gas stations this summer because they have now a 25% shortage of fueling tank drivers. Looking forward to a genuine economy in another year after Trillions in debt are not inflating things.Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

This.
Not really sure how to even respond to op. There will be an economic boom once everything is truly 100%. Im sure he will attribute it to Biden and not the fact that the Trumo economy was so robust it bounced back.
Unfortunately Bidens policies will catch up though perhapse more Unfortunately not in time for mid term elections.

It's almost like we needed to start to solve the covid crisis, and we needed a President who isn't a total dipchit to do so. Who would have thought?
Remember when we just had a clown who lied that it would go away any day, and told us to pop hydroxychloroquine, inject bleach and shove a UV light up yer angus?
brb - we'll be reopened by Easter. 2020, lool
brb - we'll be really rockin' by July. 2020, lol
brb - we have 15 cases, soon going to zero.

The numbers -including the participation rate -are all wacky because of Covid skews.
To get a relative comparative realistic picture- you look at the percent population employed.
We are still 5.4% off of pre-covid height.
We would easily be within 1 to 2% right now if we didn’t do the extended unemployment so long.
Trump left us in this tax plan that certainly keeps the economy heated- and nothing will change that as long as the tax plan isn’t changed.
The one good thing Biden has done is not change trumps economic policy yet- with exception of slowing things down and confusing them - as well as exacerbating inflation - with the extended unemployment.
That is probably why the ADP report didn’t make the 585k expectation.Intelligent individuals learn from every thing and every one; average people, from their experiences. The stupid already have all the answers.

It depends on several variables.
So let’s say they have been full time employed for a year prior to Covid.
$665-$680 a week
Then let’s say do you have a family medical insurance premium of $250 a month - it goes to cobra at $500 a month- but you pay zero with the stimulus bill paying 100% cobra
So now you at $665, in addition to no longer having to pay for medical insurance.
And the first $10,200 is tax free- so you save in taxes- as well as ensure your income is low enough to maximize eitc
Then you add snap benefits.
And starting in July eitc will be the monthly $250-$300 a kid payment in addition to all above.
And this also sets you up for a fat “refund” next year -big eitc
Now if you don’t have kids or medical insurance it’s less- but still $665 tax free a week
$680x4=$2720+ med ins payment + snap + not paying taxesIntelligent individuals learn from every thing and every one; average people, from their experiences. The stupid already have all the answers.

IMO, we don't.
But lettuce be honest; a new massive stimulus is no different than the only thing Bankruptcy Don did to help the economy. It's just that Biden is giving the money to the people while Elitist Corporate Don gave it all to rich people and corporations.
But you drumphies, who didn't mind deficit-funded stimulus under Drumpfh are suddenly upset about it. Weird.

Thanks you President Donald Trump for a once in a lifetime glimpse of energy independence, hard stances against china trade, life without WHO, putting NATO back in order, shutting down iran nuclear capabilities, drop kicking paris climate accord and slowing the spread of the marxist agenda we are now faced with...no matter the cost
