Muslims were doing Muslim things (slaughtering non believers) and China put a stop to it. But instead of slaughtering them back as they deserve they’re attempting to re-educate them, I really don’t see how China is the bad guy on this one.

They're not mutually exclusive, American news outlets aren't allowed anywhere near the pertinent parts of China, and there's nothing new to report the Uighur "reeducation camps."

It is troubling that is happening in China, with muslims but with other peoples too, such as Hong Kong, and some other religious groups. It seems several more liberal groups and companies hope to make big money in China. They tend to ignore negative news about the country.
