Looking through my ******** friends and family, I'd have just about every relevant profession at my disposal. Doctors, cops, firefighters, lawyers, electricians, teachers, musicians, tradies, office cels, etc. I even know a couple of pro wrestlers.

As far as miscers go, since everyone here is already raking 6 figures+ as an engineer/investment banker/corporate analyst/real estate developer, while also sporting 7-10 inch peckers, the overall infrastructure of the country should still run business as usual.

I say we could comfortably lose 30-40% of the population and still be fine. It would require some logistic changes for things like food production, keeping the electrical grid and water going and having enough working people to run stuff. It would also depend where they all disappeared from. For example, China and India could likely each lose half a billion people and they would be totally fine and the rest of the world would be unaffected except for having less telemarketers. That's 12% right there. Another half billion from Russia, the US and the EU combined and you're at 20%. Africa and South America another 1/2 billion.

You need people to fly planes, drive trucks and boats, farm land and refine, package and ship things, and that's just to keep the food supply going.

But yeah, 7 billion would be way too much. That's more than four out of every five people. No way society could function properly. It would be like a nuclear armageddon and everything would crumble.
