Nothing I look forward to more than unwinding after work by playing games, it's my main stress relief. Single player only nowadays though, not too interested in the multiplayer scene in my older age.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Some of the new games look amazing, but I usually play them for a week then don't find time anymore. But every once in awhile I dust off an old system and replay something from my childhood and I'm hooked.
Srs, just took out the old Super NES and ripped through Chrono Trigger in about a week. Love those old gamesPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

I've got a bunch of cars, lol. I don't like to be one of those people who tries to flex their chit on the internet, but I have a nice selection of sports cars and luxury cars. Sports cars are a Ferrari California, Jaguar E-type roadster, a modded 350Z coupe, and a stock NA Miata. Sort of have all my bases covered with that. Haven't been out driving as much as I used to and all the car club chit has been put on hold since covid, mostly just keeping them running with the odd weekend drive. The Mercedes and the SUV are more of a daily driver.

Exactly, if you are just sticking to the critically acclaimed bullchit these days you are going to have a bad time. The critics are all in their own little worlds these days and most of them just circle jerk the same general taste or lack thereof. If you want to have a good time you just gotta focus on things you like, a pretty simple concept but in today's atmosphere it's easy to get lost in other people's bullchit.
Yeah when it comes to a lot of traditional style video games that is definitely how it works for me as well. Big example of that is with 2D platformers. I have played all sorts of modern and indie 2D platformers but I always find myself getting bored with them after a while and moving on to something different. Yet when I go back to the classics and play some games like Super Mario World and Sonic 2, it's easy for me to get hooked. There is just something about games from that 90's era, games were just so much easier to get into and they seemed to often hit that perfect length where there was a lot to see but it was never too daunting.

Most games you don’t even die anymore. Sekiro and Souls/Nioh made me feel alive again.
I can’g wait for the Ninja Gaiden collection-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
