I moved to my current location for work, it was my #2 choice. I had originally wanted to move to go to Dallas, and still a part of me thinks in 10 years I wouldn't mind moving down there or Houston.

I'm content with where I'm at, and the thought of moving again and having to make friends at an older age in 10 years doesn't seem SUPER appealing.

I live in a remote area on two acres of land, my landlady has to give me rides to go shopping. I like the peace and tranquillity, but if I become financially independent I want to move to Hollywood.

My landlady doesn’t always want to take me where I want to go, and sometimes I want fast food and can’t get it despite having the money. It’s working out for now because I need to lose a lot of weight and shouldn’t be eating fast food any way, but in a couple of years I want to relocate.

Yeah man but I think it's about who you live with and not where. It's my relationships and community. Dallas is nice, that's where I grew up. My brother is from Houston. I'm going to end up settling down in Texas when I can afford to buy land, I left the South to make more money. I moved here for higher paying work and to escape a bad situation.

I think you can have a good life anywhere in the world, as long as you take care of your chit. Like treating people right, building relationships, and all that cheesy chit. I feel accepted in this city, I seriously love this city, but Texas is my home and my inevitable resting place. I think it's really about family. Like one day you get older and the people who raise you are dead, but you raise your own.

When I save up enough money from working in the city, I'm going to buy a farm and settle down to raise a family. Just one place out in nature for the rest of my life, working the land like my ancestors did. I think a man has just gotta take care of his chit and life turns out alright.

Dallas is great for me. Good weather/city/economy. It's my perfect city to work in because there isn't any outdoor activities to distract me, but nice enough outside to walk with sandals/tank most of the year. DFW airport has an abundance of direct flights if you want to travel.

I could make my life in Austin but I feel that there isn't much free thought. It can be very myopic.

Plus I feel it's not culturally diverse. I've told my girlfriend that I feel we'd like Houston but my career is here and the city had treated me well.

I've also considered moving back to Atlanta to be closer to family and some of my older friends. I also love that the southeast and east have distinct seasons. Having lived in Georgia and Virginia I miss that.

Didn't know you were a Chicago brah, I just left there last Nov. Lived there 7 years or so, 4.5 of which were in downtown.

I just didn't like the fact that it's mostly full of people from the midwest, there's just no culture in the city. Seems like a lot of people from big 10 schools and I can't stand the whole jeans + tennis shoes dress style. Isn't crime getting worse in the north?

You'll get this being a fellow chicagoan but technically I am just outside chicago lived in cook my whole life which is technically the city but I was living in the burbs incredible town but boring as chit as a kid SRS I mean BORING. Recently moved out on my own and just getting started I had to move a little southwest to dupage since it is slightly more affordable but still able to take advantage of all the best counties and the city with ease literally down the street from the 390 east onramp at least one of them and can shoot straight into the city or into cook or Kane what have you STUPID easily with I90 west merger and I think I can go north and south but don't do that to often so can't think of highways SRS.

Not sure I would wanna live down town it is fairly affordable and you get reasonable places unlike alot of the bigger urban areas not chit hole small poverty cities but I just dunno if I could do the full on city life I like having a yard I like my neighborhood and suburbs of course being young I wish I was more so in the city BRB some of the best restaurants and night clubs SRS but rent can get insane and it hard to be able to afford a truly MOGGER property without spending 500k+ easily. Fk no. Live in a major west coast city (pick your poison - they're all virtually the same at this point & are spreading they're ideology like a cancer throughout the rest of the country).
