Indoctrinating and brain washing people into believing in fairies and demons, and using that power to genocide entire populations and stifle scientific progress for a couple millenia is certainly impactful. In a negative way.

Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails, just call me Lucifer
'Cause I'm in need of some restraint
So if you meet me, have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste, mm yeah▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #53 ▪█─────█▪

Excluding major religious figures, I'd have to say Nikola Tesla. He could have invented so many things with today's technology.

"Because the thing about repairing, maintaining, and cleaning is it’s not an adventure. There’s no way to do it so wrong you might die. It’s just work. And the bottom line is, some people are okay going to work, and some people … well, some people would rather die. Each of us gets to choose.”

As others have said, irrespective of if he was real or not, Jesus probably takes the cake for recognition, impact, durability, etc.
For impact of human understanding, Newton takes it without a doubt with Darwin being a close second. Absolutely seismic shifts in the way we think about and understand the universe we inhabit.

Toss up between Abe Lincoln and Eminem.
Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.
