What is the misc feeling about tomorrow?
Soft, juicy green taco or a red, rock hard, fried burrito?
I'm going for the red rock hard burrito lol but if not, I still expect a negative week.I: Self, Lord and Master.

Good day for Palantir.
Here's my current state of the union.
The earnings were exactly what we'd want to see if the central thesis is that this is one of the best sure thing 10x chances in the market today. It won't happen overnight, it's a long haul, but they're doing it.
Personal reflection: I got greedy, I never expected palantir to launch like it did when it scorched past $30 and was in the $40's. I considered pulling some out and putting in to WFC which had been one of my big convictions prior to palantir and didn't. Hindsight is 20/20, but this seems just too obvious. I think due to my conviction in the terminal value of the company and my belief the markets didn't understand the company at all when pricing it at $7, that I allowed confirmation bias and greed to throw my sensibilities off. Second error on demo day was related to the belief that it COULD skyrocket and that the risk/reward ratio was just too favorable to let it go, and I got greedy again.
So, what's my current position: I saw a LOT of people on stocktwits, etc., that were very bullish on Palantir, but adamant not to go in with calls or margin. Turns out these people were 100% fukking correct. I'd probably be at about the same point had I done the same thing, but I also got very lucky on those first palantir options and likely erased most of that with the demo day, etc. calls, especially if we don't close Friday above $20.50.
After Friday I'll unwind the modest leverage I do have, I have some 1/23 $22 calls that I'll hold onto, and then just sit on the shares I have without margin (and obviously in my IRA I can't use margin anyways). I'm funneling cash currently into other projects, but under $25 I'll likely continue to add to palantir here and there, but I'll probably generally be on the fence as far as directly adding more equity exposure in the next few months at least, unless something drastic happens. (Dream scenario would be general market crash of 35%+ in next two years, Palantir doubles+over same period, pump cash into broad market ETFs).
Stay safe boyos, and I do think there is a chance that the media picks up on this, reddit gets excited, etc., and we see some cool moves upward to end the week, fingers crossed. Could just as easily have a massive pullback or slowly bleed lower this week. Doesn't matter too much to my portfolio, although I won't complain if the $20.50 and $22.00 5/14 calls hit... Written them off as dead money for now.

Anyone else getting destroyed in a few stocks but somehow not down much? Am I a boomer? or just decently diversified? big positions in gold, energy and a few boomer stocks keeping me afloat.
I have pretty big positions in RKT, BABA, AYX (trades like PLTR) and BGS (all at least $6000) and a smaller position in PLUG that are all way down, yet my account is only down 1.8% from my its ATH, and before this week, ive been making ATHs almost every few days.
I keep averaging down in RKT, BABA, AYX and PLUG. Im Almost out of cash.
Balls of steel or am I just an idiot?

if you have the cash you may as well average down. its only helping you
despite having the cash, my problem is i have way too much exposure to speculative stocks like pltr, cpng, and abnb. i bought too much in one go. if i ever get out of this alive its my main lesson
so as much as i want to average down, its too risky.Motorcycle Crew

IMO you should average down some but not DOUBLE down... (Pick a price target, maybe a good resistance level, and stick to that #, take your emotions out of it and wait for that number.) For me, if that price hits, this makes me feel better when it goes back up, I feel like i took advantage, but then if it goes down more, I dont feel as bad cause I didnt dump a ton of $ in it.

I agree with this (srs)
If you had a net worth of $1-2M, you could always just get some stress-free job that pays $50k and still compound your net worth and never have to worry about money and still retire early. Especially if you just had some easy job working at a city government or something so you had a pension too (srs)
You can make life really easy if you have seven figures I think... just due to the compound interest being earned, you don't really have to stress yourself out everyday during your job anymore, that could make for a pretty good life depending on what you do with it. I'm personally feeling pretty burned out from my consulting gig after 5 years... I definitely wouldn't do this job if I had a couple mil to spare.
