i became a knicks fan after the starbury trade. the carmelo era was by far my favorite era of knicks ball. he could drop 40 any given night. was a pleasure to watch him. he was maybe the best one on one offensive player in the game for a quick minute. he wanted to be here. he wanted to win here. there was one season where it actually felt real.

amare wasn't the same after that, but maybe partially due to injuries

But Donnie Walsh didn’t wanna make the trade and certainly didn’t wanna give up mozgov which the nuggets asked for at the last second. Who at the time was viewed as having some upside. That trade was all on Dolan

i didn't know about that, i thought Gallo HAD to be in the package. landry fields got a nice contract because lin was feeding him. dude dropped off that map after lin was exiled.

mozgof was a serviceable big man and had a nice touch.

I thought the Nuggets were going to win a championship with him and Chauncey in 09. If only they hadn’t screwed up the inbounds play.

I was mad when he demanded out but in retrospect I appreciate that he was forthright about his intentions so they could get some return instead of leaving them in the lurch like other players have done.

He's showing that he can be a really good scorer off the bench and he's increased his range. It's a shame okc and houston could not make it work... He would've been extremely valuable for those teams.

it's only working now because he switched up his mentality and knows his "role". he was out of the league for a bit and knew he had to change. nobody wanted him.

when he was with HOU and OKC, he was still like i'm a "starter" no matter what. i think he even stated that he was really grateful when portland picked him up. dude just wants to play.
