Colby performed a fight of the year vs Usman and (based on his performance) should've got an immediate rematch a few months later. That's what UFC does for all other fighters who had competitive fights. On top of that Colby went on and beat a former champ Woodley to further cement his status. Woodley only had a 2 fight loss streak against top contenders so no he wasn't "washed up".

If Usman continues this blatant coward ass ducking then he should be stripped from the title. Dana already said that Covington is next, there are no ifs or buts.

On paper I agree that Colby deserves the next shot. Only problem is that I don’t see how it goes any different than the first fight. Especially given how much Usman has improved. He basically does everything Colby does, but at a higher level.

The fight I WANT to see tho is Usman vs Wonderboy. Very contrasting styles that could be interesting.

So what is it that you are complaining about..? lol at hand-picking Masvidal again, the first fight was very competitive despite the knock out, Colby was arguably winning that one as well. He goes on to demolish Woodley. Absolutely deserves a title shot.

With that said Usman seems to have gotten better so IDK how this second fight is going to go.

I don't think it'll be easy,but Usman wins(again).. I don't think he or Colby will bang it out like the last fight(that Usman won). I think alot more leg kicks and attempted take downs.. Colby does not want his Jaw broken again(like last time).. Also,Usman did get hit plenty in his fight with Colby(that he won)... Fighting like that gives you a false sense of invincibility, Usman has a good chin,but if he continues to stick his chin out there,he will get caught and put to sleep.. Look at Chuck Lidell. He used to welcome the chin shots,til Rashaad found the button..

We saw two different fights.. Colby was done.. When he swung on Usman(in the later rds.) he can barely stand.. The1st and 2nd were close,then after that,it was all Usman. The stoppage was real..Know how we know...? Because the fight was ended.. It was an amazing fight for 2 maybe 3 rds,then it was just Usman doing damage.. But i understand..we all need heroes..
