The packers had a top 5 defense once in Rodgers career and he won the Super Bowl that year.

Terrible draft picks combined with no activity in free agency cost Rodgers most of McCarthy’s tenure. Lafleur runs a good scheme, but the front office seems hell bent on building for the future instead of giving Rodgers a few pieces now to get the packers over the hump. Hence the discontent.
