i have always liked the push-pull-legs program but wanted to only incorporate big multi-joint movements. do you guys think i am doing too much or too little? each exercise is 5 sets of 5 reps and are ramping sets (set 1-50% of 5 rep max, set 2-62.5% of 5 rep max, set 3-75% of 5 rep max, set 4-87.5% of 5 rep max, set 5-100% of 5 rep max). pull ups are 5x5 straight sets. Tuesdays and Thursdays i do cardio (jumping rope and boxing)
Monday:
Back squat
Front squat
Deadlift
Wednesday:
Pull ups
T-bar row
Barbell row
Friday:
Flat barbell bench press
Incline barbell bench press
barbell shoulder press

Looks decent enough to me. Just add more as you progress and feel you need more. I would personally swap deadlifts for either rdl or good mornings and I would add calf raises and probably a couple sets for biceps and couple for triceps but there's nothing wrong with your program and it could be a hell of a lot worse

My thought is that compounds are always king however frequency matters and you’ll have to see if once a week is sufficient for you. I personally prefer to hit a muscle every four days.

You have to decide whether what you're doing is too much or too little. How's your recovery? How's your progress? These are questions only you can answer. What is too much or too little is going to vary for each individual.
- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.
