    Mid-back pain when squatting

    Hey guys,

    I started working out 4 months ago after a long break. When I squat close to my 5RM, which is unfortunately only 85kg, I keep getting pain in middle back (thoracic region). It feels spinal to me. Any thoughts of the possible injury here? Maybe herniated disc?

    And what is the best way to recover and continue squatting?
