Amazon prime music is much better because pretty much all of the tracks are HD or uktra HD cd quality no joke and it has lyrics that display while the song is playing
I used to think spotify was the best but it's not worth it for 320 kb tracks

You can do all of this for free with a simple download of Youtube Vanced.
Fuking lmao if Youtube thinks I'm paying to be able to turn my own phone screen off. Fuking lmao if they think I'm paying to get rid of their absolutely bonkers ad's. It's been so long since I've seen ad's on youtube that I didn't realize how bad it's gotten. Was at a friends and they had youtube on their FireTV and holy ****. Two ads between videos? Some ad started playing that was 14 minutes long, are you fuking srs? Sure you can skip it after 5 seconds... but 14 fuking minutes?!?!?*Dallas Cowboys Crew*

Yes i listen to music almost all day and take a lot of road trips so it's good to have quality music in my car. I also have a 5k system in my car. I would pay $100 for music streaming if i had to. You can download all the files you want to also. I just bought a 512 gb SD card for my phone to store all of the music srs

Or.. you can go to piratebay or one of a million other similar sites and download an Artist's entire discography at maximum quality in about 3 minutes...
Or literally just download play lists that people have made and put online. "All the best hits of the 90's.. or All the best Rock from 2000-2010"
But you keep spending that cash.*Dallas Cowboys Crew*

Yeah I know there's ways around it but I don't have cable and I basically live on YouTube so it's worth it for me. I used to do it with cracked apks and stuff but sometimes I'd get to work and have to spend time trying to update or fix it and it just got too annoying. I have the family plan, split with gf, and we both have 2 friends on it also. It's also extra worth it because my two friends I have on my family plan give me HBO max and Spotify as a trade.

This is so outdated tho. I literally can't remember the last time I downloaded music. I couldn't imagine in 2021 trying to torrent music going thru all that anytime I want to hear new music. I pay a couple bucks a month and listen to literally anything at any time. Sure you save money, but there's absolutely nothing convinient about what you do,and you're limited to whatever you have on your device.

I guess it really depends on hertz. 20 is as low as you can go and 20,000 is as high as you can go and 2000 to 5000 is the range humans can generally grasp.
db isn't quality of music so people who try to blow out their eardrums are retarded. Subs matter very little in this equation hence most systems are 5.1 4.1 2.1 etc - 1 sub is enough.
Of course as you age - the "higher pitch" side of hearing goes away meaning you really start to lose the ability to hear that 20 khz. So, your system should focus toward the low. Typically bass accounts for frequencies between 20 and 300 Hz , mid is 300 Hz to 4 kHz, and treble counts as anything above 4 kHz. I'm not usually focused on "singers."
So, let's talk about frequency response as having a wide range doesn't matter too much.
frequency response is the way music interacts with each other through a system. If a system has 34 hertz to 20,000 hertz +/- 3Db listed as a spec it translates to if a sound is happening between 34 hertz to 20KHz is /accurate/ but what does that mean? Well, first - you want this line to be as flat as possible. This is the concept of 'sound timbre'.
The Db range only matters as a level of error in these cases. You should not be listening to music at extremely loud levels.
Often times music is done with a 'flat' microphone but there are other microphones called 'shaped' and these are to pinpoint specific types of instruments or vocalists. Shaped microphones amplify desired sounds and reduce unwanted 'pick up' ******ce or instruments. Shaped microphones are common for concerts for singers.
Materials matter. When you watch a speaker it 'bounces' and the flexing of the cone does matter. The more distorted cone the more distorted sound. So you want 'strong' materials.
Clay impregnated cones are very rigid where as polypropylene are less rigid but create resonance.
Where you put your speaker matters. Reverberation is a real thing and if you trap sound between echo chambers it dilutes the quality.
High pitch frequencies needed be modded by a 'tweeter' where as low level frequencies modded by a 'woofer.'
This is called the cross over circuit and it matters. A good speaker design uses a combination of drivers and crossovers to let each driver focus on those frequencies it can produce accurately.
The last part of this equation is /you/ meaning you setting up how you enjoy hearing the sound. Do you want your chorus on the left or the right or in the middle? All around you?
Understanding frequency is probably the hardest part of being into music theory and conceptualization them in reality in a home system as it is a lot of calculus when you get into the math side of it.

320 kbps is CD quality
Do you actually think your chitty 10w TV speakers or chitty "gaming" headset can even perceive the audio difference anyway

tidal is pretty good and listening to tracks can take you down a rabbit hole of music you forgot about. they even include all the producers/composers as links you can click like an artist and see what other tracks they've done. big big rabbit hole of music. spotify is like the apple version of streaming music, they tell you how you will stream music and theres pretty much cookie cut, and thats fine for most people.
ton of those "audiophiles" use tidal, some do use amazon music, but no one uses spotify*** Free Thinker Crew ***

i miss my car's sound system. something happened with either my wiring or my amplifier. (i already replaced the fuse and doesn't work still). ampilifer powers on with car, but subs are connected but no sound. I think my amp is turning on but dead. doesn't even matter if you got nice speakers in the doors either, without those subwoofers, music sounds like crap.

To me, it's not about the audio quality or the ease of just playing the music, it's the way that spotify intelligently can continue playing music at the end of a playlist that sounds like it belongs in the playlist that just finished. the recommended artists, daily playlists and stuff, it's all just AMAZINGLY well curated.
I have apple music also and it doesn't even come close.
Also for OP, Spotify has hifi coming so it'll be interesting to hear what the difference between it and the typical 320khz I usually stream at.Sig line can't be a novel
