Living by myself is goat.
brb do whatever I want without getting any crap
brb can read a book or watch a movie without dealing with some **** bag ruining my enjoyment of it
brb I eat the food I pay for. No dealing with ******* roommates that don't pull their weight and won't go grocery shopping.
brb don't have to worry about roommates doing **** in your home when you're gone at work i.e. inviting people over to **** up your stuff

Feels, man. I’ve been living alone since February for the first time in more than thirty years. Took a lot of adjustment.
My current coping strategies... Lifting every day (four-day split). Walking outside a lot more. Unplugged the tv. Stopped buying junk food.At age 64, I've exceeded all my prior PRs. Not “over the hill” yet. :)

Depends where you live, I lived alone in a small city where I didn't really know anybody and it was kinda crappy. Still loved my freedom but definitely would get a bit lonely sometimes and I'm pretty introverted.
On the other hand my friend lived downtown in a big city with great nightlife and we were always over his place having a blast. If you don't know people where you're at and it's a quiet place then it can definitely suck.

Living alone is the best. Currently don't have a gf but don't feel lonely. Have lots of friends to hang out with but usually only feel like doing it a few times a week. Get to sleep whenever I want without somebody asking why I'm up so late. Get to cook whatever I want without somebody asking what it is. Decorate or not decorate how I like. Walk naked. Masturbate where I want. Seriously, if you don't like living alone, you are kind of soft.

can't confirm. Hated living with roommates.
ate my food, drank my booze, ect.
lived with a real POS, and my cool roommate, me and another bro did a shot of tequila, downed it, and we all looked at each other and go " that was water"
POS roommate drank the tequila and filled the bottle with watter.
Same POS used to blare music at 2 and 3 am when i was in grad school. It was awful. Super happy to live without roommates

Never lived alone before while also single. Was always in my relationship with the GF who is still my current GF, and she would would commonly overstay her welcome. Then we moved in together and I got angry about the situation within a few months and agreed not to continue renewal, so she's moving out soon but we're still seeing each other.
Prior to these experiences I was always in roommate living situations with randoms and sometimes did like it, usually became good friends with my roommates, though always had some bad ones or some bad memories experiences.
A lot of times I 'mire Adrian Monk from the TV show Monk. He lost a wife but enjoys his private single life with his own systems and schedules. Not dealing with other people's BS unless he wants to.i7-14700k

grass is greener on the other side m8, it really is
even if you have a perfect roommate, there's gonna be at least one small thing that gets on your nerves even a little bit or subconsciously
brb can just rot in peace
tho it is nice to have roommates for bigger place (balcony, less rent, dont have to do every single thing yourself, less lonely etc)
