Rest Day today. I benched (625 top single) Friday, Pulled (2x525) yesterday and Squat tomorrow.
Current goals are 2000 total at 220 (Multiply/drug free), 800+ Squat Competing May 15. Deadlift is my worst lift, so I'm hoping to squat 830, bench 625 and then I'll only need a 545 pull, but I think I'm good for 575 if I need it.
Keeping weight at an even 220 so I don't have to cut for the meet. If I hit my 2000 total I am planning to do a slow cut down to about 208, then shoot for a 600+ bench at 198.I'm not DrewDarden
Best Meet lifts: S:805 B:705 D:560 Total:2070 (220, equipped, drug free)
Best Raw (gym lifts): S:540 B:380 D:515

Good thread
Lifting push today. Day off so I get tons of sleep and get to train at whatever time I want which is GOAT
Just ate half a cup of oats, 100g raspberries, and about 20g of 100% dark chocolate as my pre workout meal.
Trying to get as lean as possible while increasing athleticism and keeping strength/muscle, aiming for this level physique, which I feel I can actually come close to this year srs

Checking in.....
Hitting chest/quads today
Goal is to not get fat. Bulked 14 lbs through the winter. Added about 35 lbs to my bench, 50lbs to squat and about 100lbs to my dl (I was undereating previously)
About to start dropping cals and upping cardio.....try to maintain strength as much as possible and get back down to 13-14% bf.

I have been super strict with my nutrition while working out - weighing very damn gram of food I eat (even counting calories in Animal Pak and fish oil) and keeping my protein intake right around 1g per lb of body weight. Current weight 196. I hit the gym at 5:15am 5 days a week before work and the 6th day whenever I wake up (usually around 6:30am on Sat) - take Sundays off. Today was arms. Been riding my bike a few miles every day after work and with my wife on the weekends. I don't drink alcohol and only drink water.
I dropped some fat while building muscle and feel great! Turning 47 in May and nice and cut looking, abs and all.
No more of that bulking/cutting season crap for me.

Lower body today
Did low handle trap bar deadlifts
135x5, 225x4, 315x3, 405x2
Flipped the handles and put the straps on and did RDLs with it, 315x5 then 225x12
Then did goblet squats 2 warm up sets of 6 at 40, then 55 then a work set of 70x15
After that, seated leg curls in a drop set of 65x6, 55x8, then 45x10
Then a AMRAP set on a horizontal leg press after my legs were already thoroughly trashed, did 200 for 23 reps.
Finally an AMRAP set of donkey calf raises with just body weight and a 3 ct pause at the top and bottom. Got 26 reps in all.
Also, I never use a belt, wraps or any of that stuff. Just straps sometimes.Age: 30

Full body 5x week with cardio on weekends, coming off of a more PHAT style approach
Wouldn't mind having Steve Cook's physique. Gotta build up abs a bit and get all this phukking fat off of my legs/lower abs
Starting week 3 of a cut. Going well so far, especially now that I've quit the devil's lettuce.:MiscMarioBrahs:.

Leg/pull today. RDL's, front squats, seated rows, chins, and some curls for the girls. Got 2 more weeks of a quick 8 week cut to drop some winter fluff so just focusing on maintaining as much strength as possible through that.
Hit all time PR squat and deadlifts (385 squat, 530 pull) right before starting cut, so hope to crush those (and PR bench) by the end of the year. Have barely lost any maximal strength even though down 10ish# so I think a very slight surplus through the next few months should lead to some nice strength gainz.Permabulk/bloatlord Crew
