These are all first round matches. Everything in Round 2 won a first round match. It's like the NCAA basketball tournament. It's a single elimination bracket where the field get cut in half each round until there is one single winner.

    taste wise cauliflower

effect wise broccoli...even more so, broccoli sprouts then after sprouted place them in 158 degree water for 10 minutes. this makes them have about 60 times more sulforaphane minimum than broccoli florets.

Broccoli for me, although cauliflower "potato" dishes are quite good IMO, if you don't have potatoes.

You can also make some good pizza crusts with it...

if you add parmesan cheese, salt, an egg, and some onion/garlic salt to blended dry cauliflower it really is tasty.

That does sound really good! As a standalone side dish it tends to taste a little bland, but it has enough of a starchy texture for a lot of uses. None of my siblings liked the cauliflower "mashed potatoes" when I was a kid so I was usually happy when that was the side dish and I was hungry lol.

On a regular basis, I prefer broccoli. Cauliflower is great in Indian dishes though.

My wife does that to make low carb pizza. The power of carbs made us gain too much weight.

Fair. They're inferior but still satisfying, IMO.

There is an indelible watery taste to cauliflower that potatoes don't have.

Yeah that's a pretty accurate description. I don't mind them as a veggie - just don't find them to be a satisfactory substitute for potatoes or regular pizza crust in a world where you know those exist.

Well overeating anything will make you gain weight, especially dietary fat.

I eat roughly 60% of my calories from carbs and have no issues staying lean

To me it’s comparing two different things really... a cauliflower crust is like a chewy, cheesy, earthy flavor vs the usual flour based dough.

I’ve had a couple good cauliflower crusts but they usually very heavy on the cheese included
