Asked this friend who lives nearby 'so where do you take your car for a wash'. he said he never bothers and has never taken his car for a wash. I have 2 more people tell me the same..they say 'i just let rain wash my car'.
I was astounded and judged them little bit....but are there really lot of people who dont bother taking their car for a wash or self-wash during its entire lifetime?
My dad always gets car washed every other week and get it detailed few times a year so i thought it was the norm. I clean my own car as I dont trust car washes but I spend time doing deep clean under the carriage and every inch under the seat etc.
am i right to judge people who dont wash their car?

Are there really people in this country who don't wash their car ever?

Probably a bit of a different story here because we deal with deep winter, freeze and thaw, etc. But I still try to wash our cars as little as possible, both of them being daily drivers and IMO washing too often just doesn’t add any real value for the cost.
I would put more effort into a weekend sports car but also wouldn’t need to wash it as often

Keeping your car clean. Both inside and outside. Keeping your room clean. Keeping your home clean. Your lawn should be fresh.
As elephants spray themselves in a river. As Lions and Felines lick their fur to clean themselves. As dogs lick their genitals and buttholes. As insects clean the earth of mold and fungus. As mold and fungus clean the dead.
It's all a form of sexual ornamentation. It affects on whether she wants to mate with you or not. Whether to continnue the species due to natural selection and darwinism.
Just keep yourself and your things clean.Financial Freedom/Passive Income Crew

The daily truck sits outside (2009 F-150). Wife's car (2020 Jeep) gets the spot in the garage along with my workshop chit.
I wash the truck once every like 3 months, keep it waxed and let the rain do it's thing in-between washes. I clean out the inside once/week though.....pull out trash, vacuum, wipe down
She runs her Jeep through the "touchless" wash once/week....but cleans the inside really only when she knows I'm going to ride it it....which is like once/month. just lol

generally speaking people don't take care of their own bodies. you think they're gonna wash and clean their cars? lol. we are the exception to the rule gents.
i've mentioned in many threads here - i do a yearly coat of IGL ceramic on my challenger. very very strong protectant. my truck i just wax a couple times a year at this point. it looks good for its age. otherwise i wash one or the other every couple weeks as long as rain isn't in the forecast.

My winter driver is a rusty square body chevy that's been painted flat black, even then I wash it maybe 1-2 times a month in the winter. My G8 I wash about 2 times a month when it's driven during the rest of the year.
NPC drivers I can imagine don't wash their vehicles and only vaccum when the car wash place has free vaccum days lol. GROCE
It's probably safe to say that most if not all of us are enthusiasts so I imagine we'd wash our stuff.
