97th percentile (srs) but included counting equity from Primary Home option
Without including home equity (and a 6 fig down) = 91st percentile (liquid capital only)
Aged: 25-29
My older brother is even more insane, he had ~440k liquid at 30 yrs old and his income is going to be around 300k minimum annually in two more years (MD specialist - cardiology)
I know a 29 year old with over 10m, 4m liquid (stocks / options / cash etc.), 3m in RE and 3-4m in two gas stations that he owns and yes, 100% self-made, started building wealth at 16. He was driving a $500 car when he was worth $500k and kept driving it even when he was @ 2m. He was still living at home the entire time. He crossed 1m @ 21 years old and made another mill in 2 more years by 23. Since 23, his net worth just exploded with so much capital to play with lol. He diversified into RE around 23/24 and bought gas stations in his mid twenties i believeLast edited by yondy12; 04-15-2021 at 10:12 PM.

Dat feel when you're 25 but your net worth is higher than the median of 35-39, and you're in the top 25% of 25-29. Feelz good. If things don't change much I'll be in the top 10% of 25-29 by age 27.

401(k) srs. I've been contributing to 401(k)s since 22, and the majority of that time I had a match from the company. Adds up quick... even $4k a year is $8k after the match (assuming 1:1). Starting from nothing, and assuming 10% growth, that'd grow from $0 to $51k in 5 years. So at that point it's up to you to have saved back only $100k to hit that $150k mark of net worth (also assuming no debt). Which is actually below $15k a year, over 5 years, assuming you invest and get 10% annual return along the way.

36... i think its around 200 k
only problem is its all monopoly money anyway
i went to the store to buy a steak yesterday and 200 grams of meat cost 25 dollars.
i was raised on a dairy farm and sometimes we would sell animals for veal, or even just the little week old ones.
the price fluctuates so widly and arbitrarily youd swear it was being run but a monkey
one week youd sell a beautiful 120 lb bull for 20 dollars. 20 BUCKS!!!. Crazyness. Just crazy. you cant even get a case of 24 beer for 20 bucks. then next week the price would soar to 200 $ for virtually the SAME animal
whoever is setting the prices must have gone off his meds because that is beyond the pall
i dont know what going on but i encourage ALL OF YOU to become as independent as possible

How did you graduate with a mechanical engineering degree if you canโt do basic arithmetic?
The net worth associated with your real estate is the market value minus the mortgage principle. Unless your condo is worth less than your mortgage, you did not go down in net worth when buying it.6โ1

My own assets protected by my prenup and not including community property, I hit the 97th percentile if I use 30-34 age range. Seeing Iโm 30 in July, it makes more sense to go with that age group.

Only because I went in big on bitcoin a few years back. Misc has been awaring me of it for around a decade and when I finally decided to get into it I thought I was making a huge mistake at the time.
Thank god everything panned out. Been slowly cashing out since it broke the $50k mark. It could really go either way. Keep going up or sudden crash. That is why I plan on selling around ~50% with in the next 12 months. Then hold on the other half til the end.
Still made it out like a bandit.
