This is true. I’ve interviewed/hired people for a small family business for years. The lack of responses to ads lately is pretty bad. There isn’t much incentive to work these days, and plenty of reasons/incentives not to.

Yes, I think they would. They might increase prices, but that has already been happening and they are still around.

My guess would be that they would leverage more automation, like ordering kiosks, and focus on having fewer/better quality employees running their restaurants.

Look what happened in Texas. A few days of snow and people literally started starving and freezing to death. They were begging for help from the federal government even though Texas-cels always pretended to be independent cowboys.
