How much can BMR/TDEE vary between similar people?
Given people of the same height and weight and similar lifestyle. Can one person have 1000 calories more in BMR/TDEE than another for example? Or do they only vary by few hundreds or so?
Guessing here - but BMR is mostly based on total amount of tissue - muscle being more active than fat. So I would expect low variance in BMR
TDEE however, includes daily activity would could vary anywhere from people who are in a coma to people who at training for some crazy endurance event.
