RepFitness PR-5000 Lat Attachment with weight stack

Hi, i'm designing my new home gym around the Rep PR-5000v2. they sell a lat/low row attachment for the rack, but i don't really want a plate-loaded design. I have this type of setup now on a different machine and it's just tedious. I could purchase a separate lat pulldown machine, but i'm trying to maximize the space I have. I was looking at purchasing a separate weight stack and a selector shaft, like the one below. Has anyone done this before?

You're assuming the lat pull attachment will ever be in stock again to purchase much less modify.

If it comes back in stock, yes, it can be done. You’ll need to know the side to side (center to center)distance of the Rep guide rods as well as the diameter of the rods. You can get plates for 3/4” rods as well as 1” rods. Many generic plates have the holes on 5” centers, but there are other options also. If the Rep setup is different it can still be done but it will involve a good bit more of work.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

ok thanks! It looked like it should work, but I appreciate getting a second/third opinion.
Almost all of my planned gym is on back-order, so I hope things get back to normal soon!
