I'm a Bucs fan and don't want Brown back.
1. Brady had a higher QBR when Brown didn't play.
2. Bucs scored 31 points per game whether Brown played or didn't play.
3. With OJ Howard back Bucs will be in 12 personnel more often.
4. Not even getting to Scotty Miller, Tyler Johnson could play for alot of teams. He's very good.
5. Scotty Miller takes the top off. He needs to play all the time.
6. Brown has a court case coming up.
7. If anyone would destroy the Bucs culture, it would be a disgruntled Antonio Brown.

Edelman's knee won't hold up. He failed a physical. He's never playing again.
A guy who got the most out of his talent. He slipped the past couple of years. More drops and silly penalties.
First inauguration red jacket in the Patriots Hall of Fame.
Hopefully he didn't get too many concussions as a player.

Offense runs smoother with Scooter and Johnson, hence why Brady had a higher QBR without Brown. They were running BS one read plays just to get AB touches and was putting them in bad situations. PPG was only equal because they scored 47 on the Lions when they had half their team and coaching staff out. The guy calling the defense was like a 25 year old quality control coach.
They came back on the Saints and beat the Packers not only without Brown, but with Miller and Johnson making big plays.

Edelman was soso good his entire career. It really sucks to see him retire but with his style of play his body must be beyond ruined for him to go. I wish I could say he had a hall of fame career but I think he is going to be a little short. One of the great playoff performers and the best burger rater in the NFL.

I think Brown is a great gamble for the Bucs. Brown is still an impact player. When fully locked in, Brown has the upside to be the top wideout in Tampa and among the best wideouts in the league. That is insane upside considering he is cheap enough to cut and discard if he doesn't work out. The concern is his personality but Brady has full control over that locker room and is an all-time great locker room presence.
Brown might be crazy but he knows he won't get another shot if he flames out in Tampa. Give him a small rope but I think this is a trust in Brady situation.
