or, the driver created this situation by ignoring the lights and made the officers think he was hiding criminal activity. What kind of law abiding civilian just willfully ignores police sirens and keeps driving?
but nah.

Cannot make any judgement until I see the full video
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

I'm mean I've done it for the same reason. Nothing wrong with driving a little ways to a well lit area, and one with witnesses/cams. This isn't Judge Dredd, and we're not helpless drones that say "how high" when told to jump.
Again, the Left will love that attitude when it comes time to take guns, and impose vaccine laws. Know your rights6'3 Master Race

LOL, who the hell said this? No one
I like how you're "do these things to protect yourself" when it comes to bootlicking.....and then get upset that some drive to a well lit area. That protects both the driver and cops, since they can see more clearly.
You already admit the cop fukked up, so how do you not see how bad things could have gone if this altercation happened in a dark area?6'3 Master Race

Why does the misc continue to make these threads?
The rules are simple:
1. Do anything and everything you're told to do by the cops, and by extension, any government authority
2. Do not question, do not hesitate
3. Comply and follow all orders from the cops, and by extension, any government authority.
I guarantee you wouldn't have any problems whatsoever.
People just need to trust all positions of government authority and understand that what they do is in your best interest
If people listened to whatever authority existed, the US would be the most peaceful country on Earth2014 Misc Resolution: Negging no pics (screen captures of text don't count as pics)

Haven't read or looked at video. Read a couple posts.
We all aware that there is no reason an officer needs to order you out of the car? It's true. Like it or not.
Guess what happens if you refuse? You've passively resisted arrest. Guess what's authorized? Force.
Listen to the cops. They are often working with information you don't know and have authority, and even more so depending on the facts known to them (not you), at the time.
Be careful.
There's nothing to argue in this post. 100% fact.
This stuff about basic refusal to submit is degrading your own society. If you don't support the premise of what I'm saying. Play out in your head how limiting your local police's motivation to apprehend proportionate to the constitution will work out for your community. Feel free to examine stats the last year in major cities, same after FergusonLast edited by memcop; 04-09-2021 at 10:20 PM.

Nobody here is saying the driver did nothing wrong, people are saying that the cop, who absolutely should be held to a higher standard, should have acted much better.
How is screaming “you should be afraid!” while pointing a gun to a guy who’s scared as fuc going to help the situation?
How is making a joke about his low rank in the military not extremely unprofessional?
The driver should have acted different and the cop should be fired

Cool starry. How many of your cops are killed on the side of the road a year. We are a nation of defiant people. Literally why we are so great. We have the freedom to go too far and have the tools to easily do so.
Not the same. It is a USA Swiss GDP comparison

This. I often side with the cops in these situations, but this is pretty cut and dry. That cop was a psychopath, Army brah had every reason to be terrified. In that situation there's no f*cking way I'd be unbuckeling my seatbelt. Cop is coked up to the max ready to dump a mag in to me the second I fail to keep both hands out the windows whilst simultaneously unbuckeling my seatbelt. No thanks.
Even his partner seemed to think he was a weird *******. "I know how to obey! You're finna ride the lightning son!" Like ok weird kid. God I wish I could catch that guy outside a bar unarmed and just beat the chit outta him for being so cringe27
