My life doesn't revolve around this chit hole of an industry so its been buffered from the effects that corporate indifference has imposed upon it.

Hell, I've went through an ENTIRE military enlistment, finished a undergrad and grad EE stem degree, bought and sold 3 houses, married a girl, had multiple kids in the time it has taken bethesda to ANNOUNCE elderscrolls 6 since es5. So yeah, I'm a little skeptical the industry is taking a consumer friendly strategy...

I'm considering starting a doctorates in QED and I'll probably fukking finish that before ES6 gets its first patch.

Well we all know Bethesda is now total chit. With any hope guidance from MS will help them get back on track.

But with that said, you are looking for that one game, not everyone is. An ES sequel is something I could not care less about. Yea, there are disappointments in the gaming industry but overall gaming has never been better, and the tremendous growth we've seen in the industry would indicate the majority of people feel that way.

Considering that TLOU2 was basically just filler with 80 billion dollars of graphics, I have no idea how this is going to work out for them since people who only play AAA titles are getting more and more fickle about them.

-Literally all the versions of tlou are hd. And yes, the ps4 version is literally titled "the last of of remastered".

I agree that new AAA games take time and this potential "remake" of tlou will be gorgeous. This seems like it will be a remake, ala Demon Souls ps5, ratchet and clank ps4, or Halo 2 Anniversary.

there are definitely some gems of gaming in the last gen, but this is about sony exclusives which I digressed to exclusives in general which further digressed to how AAA companies in general are real fukking stingy with their fat milkers.

dying light, the forest, RE2 remake, pubg , tw3, even assassins' creed games were great.

I think plenty of other actors would have been better than Pedro Pascal. I never saw what was so good about the guy.

My bet is that it's because he played the Mandalorian, like how all of these movies shoehorn in the Stranger Things kids in because that show was popular. As you said, there are plenty of better choices, but he's such an out there pick that it starts to make sense of the idea that they would want to retcon the game to match the show.

Video games are just like movies now. No one capable of coming up with an original idea; let's just **** out a remake of something that didn't even come out over 10 years ago. Fantastic 4 Syndrome.

If sony wants to remake games then God of War 1 and 2 should be up on that list .... I dont think they ever released a remastered version for the ps4 (only on ps3) .... But a full faithful remake of god of war 1 and 2 would be absolutely incredible ..... god of war 3 is still damn good, and looks great thanks to the ps4 remaster, so they dont need to touch that.

Yes! The original God of War trilogy could definitely use some love. I'd even throw the third game in there not for the graphics, but to resolve some of the nightmarish platforming (fixed camera angles in a 3D game with death pits are a sin).

I won't lie, though: I'd be interested in seeing a total trilogy remake that approaches the combat to take some queues from more modern action games while abandoning the QTEs in favor of more engaging alternatives to meet the same ends for those encounters. Just thinking about some of the QTE focus makes my hands cramp up.

Bro, it's not Minecraft. Why you so mad I am enjoying Breakpoint? More I play the more I like it, the gameplay anyway, since the Ghost Experience updates it's a great tactical shooter with all the immersion settings on full blast, IMO. Best I've played since MGSV, and the story is as bad too, lol. At least Kojima cutscenes were on point though, Ubisoft quality is cringe.

They changed Spiderman's face to better fit Miles, the new Spiderman videogame made by the same company, not any other Spiderman media. I mean I would expect a ful graphical remake, and facials might change slightly to look better overall but I don't see them adapting the characters to actors of other media, or changing the story to match that media. That makes no sense to me,
