I never really played Halo until 3, so I keep toying with the idea of downloading this from gamepass.

Is it worth it? I worry that gameplay won't hold up. Same with Mass Effect - Really want to jump in but not sure I'll have the same experience as I would have if I played it on release.

I bought Halo 3 for the multiplayer. Never played it when I was younger, so I figured I'd make up for some lost time.

I'll be honest, I only ever played the original Halo. I am now halfway through Halo 2. I play coop. I did hear horrid reviews about Halo 3. I'm yet to play it. I don't intend on playing it online. I love the story and there is plenty to do. I highly recommend it. Graphics are enhanced and the gameplay is awesome.

I think it's the GOAT PC FPS, you can tell Halo was originally designed for a keyboard and mouse, makes the games so much better. Especially with 120+ fps.

You really get a feel for what was out at the time and why it became such a popular game. Halo 1 to 3 was one of the best stories and arcs in console history. 4 and 5 are like meh, Reach is dope, and ODST is a nice change of pace.

Since I got an xbox last year I have been slowly playing through it. I don't think Halo 1 has aged that well. A lot of frustrating moments, at least to me. I'm now on Halo 3.

It is a really good collection that has continued to get updates and enhancements.

Just recently downloaded this on my PC as well. Having played 2, 3, ODST and Reach, I had to see what made it so popular (1) and what happened after 3. Pretty cool how you could toggle graphics at will for the older games. Dat arbiter in HD

You could probably buy the 360 version individually, but not the one from the collection (FOV, 4k, 120fps).

brb consult with the alien covenant elders (wtf?)
brb the brutes which were mysteriously absent in Halo: CE all of a sudden have some rivalry storyline with the Elites
brb something something high charity something cleric or whatever

Couple that with Halo 2 insisting on having Covenant variations of every Human gun for some reason. At any rate the game gives you sniper rifles throughout like 80% of the campaign so just snipe everything and before you know it the game is over.

Quite possibly the worst game launch ever imaginable. They redeemed it with h5 but didn't pivot quick enough and h5 quickly fell off. I really hope they dont mess up infinite because it will probably be the death of the franchise. h3 on mcc pc is still goated though

Loved the campaign. Number 2 is probably my fav.
Had a lot of fun in multiplayer and that horde mode against the covenant.
