Probably because they have to make special deals with any publishers they don't own to feature their games on their service, deals that are sure to be limited time. I'm sure they also prioritize getting new games over keeping old ones around. It's simply a service where you have access to a wide variety of games and it changes every month, lots of stuff stays but there is always things coming and going.

This is a problem with literally every subscription based service where you get instant access to tons of content. Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, ect, they all have content that comes and goes. If you really want something specific forever just buy it. Heck even Gold and PS+ games are only good for as long as you are subscribed, if that expires you can't play anything.

Ya but say the current list is good and they remove good ones and the new list has new games but the games are bad so wouldn’t the old list be better to kept and not changed at all
and that’s also bad because Im buying subscription to game pass right now hoping to play the games on the current list but maybe just a month later they remove some of those games and the new ones don’t interest me
And then game pass is useless to me as I have to buy the games I used to play on it...I don't check my CP, IDC about reps/negs

Earlier this year and late last year, I poopoo'd the idea of a new xbox because I was PC gaming.
...and then GPU prices went absolutely wild and I caved and sold both my 2080 and 980ti and now am chilling with a PS5 and a backlog of games on Gamepass that I want to finish.
I feel like at this point, it'll be easier and SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper to just grab a series X and wait who knows how long before GPU prices go back to normal.Sig line can't be a novel

Yeah same, it's way overblown these days. I mean I get how graphics improvements used to be a really big deal back in the day, but these days it's getting pretty hard to really tell the differences. Performance is generally up on the new consoles, and but it's pretty hard for me to tell the difference between a One X and a Series X without an HDMI 2.1 TV. Frame rates seem to be the biggest difference maker.

only if gaming is literally the one and only thing you do. That and media streaming. It sucks for web browsing (no firefox and no browser plugins), it can't do multiple screens, can't do any sort of video editing, etc.
It's a solidly mid-tier dedicated gaming PC of sorts without all the non-gaming PC capabilities if you want to view it that way.Sig line can't be a novel

compared to pc? I guess ur saying u can just torrent the games on pc so it’s obvs a better deal
In terms of laptop/desktop
What’s an equivalent rig for the same price?
I feel like u need to buy a $1-2k laptop/desktop to play the same games normally. U might get better FPS and idc about gfx.
However I feel like in desktop/laptops the tech gets outdated really fast like at most a year later you have to upgrade your laptop/desktop again
Meanwhile a console will last 7 years
But another thing is do U even need more than 120fps
At that point I feel like u can’t notice a difference and can only be noticed in competitive multiplayer games.I don't check my CP, IDC about reps/negs

Oh got it, so I can use some backward ass way of buying potentially stolen merchandise that's not a legitimate purchase and call that "cheaper". If that's what you're saying then I can do the same thing with console games at the local flea market from the guy who found a box of new games that must have "fell off the truck".
