Because I really like this strategy too srs, even if you miss out some gains by selling off on the odd weekend where the market pumps , you can usually make it back and more if you have a tonne of cash to throw in during the dips

Exactly what's happening, whales start the sell off by causing panic(51K) and then they pause(55K) catching people slipping by forcing buys at 52K.

Then it dips to a new low(48K), they cause a sell off, it goes back to 51K because people think 48K is cheap.

Who knows where the bottom actually is.

I just switched to this strat recently. You can't really time if a dip happens on the weekend or not. The past few Saturdays there were baby dips were BTC dumped like 1.5% twice in a few minutes but it recovered by the end of the day and pumped hard Sunday. There were also the same baby dips happening on Tuesday. I think in general just cash out if we get big green day and wait a day to see if it tanks is what I'll be doing. As long as you set stop losses like 3% below your entry then you can usually recover it on one flip. If you get cashed out on a dip like today, you would recover it in minutes if you get back in in the bottom. You lose 3% but it already recovered 10% in like 15 minutes from the 30% correction we had. If it goes back up to predip level pricing then your up like 50%.

Doubt it's over. If I were a whale I would do exactly that - dump, wait for buyback, then dump again. This would cause a massive panic. Even better, do what they did back in March and have a straight week of dumping and people screaming "my life is ruined it's going back to 10K"

Wish they did this chit right in the middle of the DOGE shenanigans when everyone and their mother were throwing their life savings at it
