I don’t think so. It’s pretty clear the defense is trying to sow doubt in the jury’s mind on what killed Floyd.

Floyd popping off at the mouth about not being able to breathe when he was upright, pretty much would give anyone pause to believe him when he was on the ground...

This argument makes no sense as witnesses have already testified that Chauvin kept his knee on Floyd’s neck for over 4 minutes after he was told Floyd didn’t have a pulse.

in some cases they are yellow, not sure about there, but I have seen cops wearing yellow tasers

They are always easily distinguishable from a real gun in appearance and I've never held one but I am guessing they would be a lot lighter weight than most service weapons (and carried on the weak side).

I don't know what transpired in this case, but cops need to pick their battles better. It was a traffic stop, kid was fleeing yes, but on foot, was probably just scared or going to ditch some party favors. They had his car, his phone, his girlfriend. Pretty sure they would find him easily enough. Same with George Floyd, it was a counterfeit bill FFS, you had all his particulars. Ticket his ass, give him a court date, get him medical if needed, ensure he had a safe ride home and move along.

Jeez that’s crazy. Aside from killing the driver, it looked like she barrel swept her partner and the passenger. She had the gun in front of her waving it around for a long time before pulling the trigger. No question on that one, negligent discharge. That’s scary.

While I agree with their sentiment, dude tried to dodge the cops and get back in his car and drive off with them very close to it. Apparently from this Instagram post:

The reason he had a warrant out for his arrest is they sent his notices to the wrong address. With all that being said, had he just let them arrest him and figure it out at the station, he would still be alive. This is completely different than the army medic getting abused by that idiotic cop.

Yeah that officer has been fired. You know the situation is dire when the other cop was trying to help to guy and try to deescalate but the cop stops him from helping. This is after he sprayed the guy! Yeah, he should get paid handsomely for that.

I know it's simple to say to just comply to an officer's demand I can absolutely understand why people (specially if you're black) won't want to. I'm not black but have darker skin and have been pulled over by undercover cops and had my car searched for drugs. They asked me to step out of the car, put my hands on the roof of the car, and was patted down. Apparently I fit the description of a latino that was selling drugs around this particular neighborhood. I guess depending on one's disposition a situation like this could've had dire consequences. Again, I fully understand why some people are wary, afraid and non compliant. But what's been happening is so senseless.

I blame the media for this. Most black people( if not all) know there are major issues within the black community. Me and my family talk about them all the time at family gatherings. The issue is much larger than the community itself can handle. Most don’t have the energy or time to focus on that when they have families or careers.

Another vicious cycle that is completely understandable is successful black people rarely stay in impoverished, high crime areas. They pursue areas that will offer them and their families the best opportunities. This leaves the high crime, impoverished areas the main causes of black on black crime/homicides.

You also fit the description of a guy who was minding his own business obeying the law. Imagine how that stop would have went if cops weren't obsessed with making drug busts.
