I think Ben is streaky and I don't see this being in night in / night out result for him but yeah still huge. Considering nothing was given up to get them, yeah they were both HUGE pickups
Two full games and two double doubles from Drummond so far. Imagine Lebron throwing lobs to him, imagine teams doubling him and leaving AD open to feast from the 4 spot. LAWD
This was with Shroeder getting tossed in the 2nd quarter too which he shouldn't have been because it was dumbass Kyrie talking ****

So apparently Dennis said the n word and that's why Kyrie was all up in his face and wouldn't let it go lol
C'mon bruh, I've literally seen Kyrie say the n word to other players before on camera. Don't be a ****ing hypocrite

I realize that AD is rusty and it's been awhile... but Jesus 5/19?! Gotta be better. Trez not getting any time on the court is weird as well, he deserves some PT and I get that they were trying to work Gasol in there but idk
LeBron again has to put on his superman cape with this team once he's back. I really did think that this was the year that AD turns into a MVP candidate and competes with Bron/KD as "Best Player in the World"..... but nope

Shooting was just horrible in general all game. But how do you go into the half with a 12 point lead and then end up losing by 15? How do you get out rebounded by the mavs when you got drummond and AD? Why play Gasol so much and leave Harrel on the bench? I just don't get what they're doing.
They must be fine with the #6 spot if we fall there and just be going all in on load management and having everyone healthy, it's the only thing I can think of. But that 2 game series was hard to watch and not comforting

If he's recovered from that achilles soreness 100% then it doesn't matter who he competes with. Just need to stay 6th seed or better and prepare for what's next. This wont be an easy playoffs run this year at all. Repeating is tough when teams you beat see that crown on your head and want to strip it from you. The worst thing that can happen, is that LeBron returns too early. Being in the play in tournament, anything goes and can happen but I doubt the Lakers lose even one game if they end up there
Only thing that worries me is AD trying to do too much, and LeBron rushing to come back. This will be be a grueling postseasonWord is Bond

Ideally they stay in that #5 spot. Going against the Nuggets w/no Murray in the first round is the most favorable match-up and allows for them to hopefully build some chemistry and come out of the series healthy and with momentum. Playing Suns/Clippers in the first round would still be doable but definitely wouldn't be as happy about it
Play-in tournament is scary because they're basically single elimination games

If the Lakers do fall to the 7th seed it's likely Memphis or San Antonio they'll face. Two teams you definitely don't want to be facing in an all out tournament. Anything can happen with those two teams tbh
If LAL face Denver in first round it's a wrap. Unless MPJ is the second coming of Jordan, I don't see them winning. I don't care how amazing Jokic is, that team doesn't have enough. Murray is done. Barton's health is always in shambles unfortunately. They just don't have enough if the Lakers are healthy. The only way I see Nuggets making it a series is if Aaron Gordon stops fuking around and gets serious. I'm pretty sure Millsap is going to go in, as old as he is, but Gordon I am unsure about at the moment. He's likely the key for Denver if they are to advance past the Lakers imo
I'd rather see the Lakers face the Suns than face the Clippers. Suns are pretendersWord is Bond

Well, "fully healthy"
It's his first game back lol
I agree though it shouldn't have been a loss. I dunno why Lebron took that 3 at the end instead of trying to get into the paint. The team was winning on the boards, doing well defensively, kings were just playing lights out like it was their game 7 of the finals. Shroedder played like ****, Kuzma didn't do **** in 22 mins
Not trying to make excuses for them, but if you did watch the game you'd be happy to see how Lebron was moving/playing and for his first game back I'll take it. I do think they need to get serious though because they really want to maintain that 5th seed

You take a shot like that because the time, if you miss you have a potential for a put back. Very common technique.
Lebron looked like his normal self, and he was the only starter who was +.. AD's shot is still terrible, DS was TERRIBLE, Drummond can't finish at the rim and is terrible on the defense in the pick and roll. KCP was terrible, Morris again was terrible, Kuz was terrible. The shooting on this team has been bad, and honestly so glad they got Mclemore, dude has been a godsend

I just feel like if they had tried to go for a safer 2 they would have had it in OT. Maybe Lebron's ankle was tight and he didn't want to go the extra time? It's not like it mattered all that much but he was just pretty cold from 3 so wouldn't have been my first choice
Yeah the shooting was really really bad, again. These games are being lost literally because the team can't make simple shots.

AD is gonna be the reason they get bounced early. He is TERRIBLE right now. Not even a top 40 player in the NBA at the moment, playing like Kevin Love of the Cavs right now.. he's atrocious on defense since coming back, when feeding him in the post he legit has been terrible all year, his 3 pt shot is GONE, and he can't hit FT's anymore at the clip he did last year. This entire year he just decided after the ring that's it.. he doesn't need to do anything else
Every other day it's becoming "the worst loss of the year". Pathetic

Shut the fuk up
He's been out for two entire months. It's going to take some time and some adjusting. Right around the time when it will count is when we'll see AD back up to speed. Whether that's the end of the season, or the start of the playoffs, he'll be ready. This rust is nothing. Give him another game or two, AD will start returning to formWord is Bond
