Controlled Labs Pets, with Gbullock and Sylvanas!

So this is a new one, Controlled Labs pet supplements. Never had looked much into supplements for pets, never had much reason, but I do love my dog so hey, anything that can improve her health and keep her happy and healthy for a long time.

Thanks to Controlled Labs for the promo, they sent me out 1 tub of each of their new pet supplements, 90 pieces in each. The lineup includes: Orange Triad multivitamin, Oximega Fish Oil, and Allergy Immune.

So a nice round stack no different than the one I take, with the only exception being the immune supplement.

This will be a mini log of sorts, with many dog pictures, pretty much logging how she responds to these supplements and a basic review and maybe I’ll try one of them because why not. So if you like supplements and dogs than sit back and enjoy! I’ll keep it updated for around 2 weeks, posting every 1-3 days (I work double shifts Sat/Sun so no posts then) and end with final thoughts.





So my doggo is Sylvanas, a full breed boxer and she just turned 2 years old the other day, I’ve had her since 8 weeks and other than chewing up a chunk of my couch she’s been nothing but great. Nothing tops coming home from a long day at work to a dog that is happy to see you. With that in mind I try to keep her as happy as I can, treats galore for her, with ham bones or peanut butter being her favorites. Price is no concern for me, if she’s happy than I’ll pay anything for it, the stress relief and just happiness I get from her is worth anything.

As with most full breeds, boxers can have health issues, hip displacia for example, among other things, so some supplements that might help prevent or lessen that chance is definitely worth it. Now she is a bit picky with treats and shys away from man made bones, which also give her the runs. So giving her these I will make sure that doesn’t happen, while following the directions listed on the tubs, she is ~45 pounds (heavy girl) so starting with 1 per day, then going up to 2 per day if she tolerates them well.

Given it wont be easy to see any direct results I will mention if she has any issues with them like upset stomach or diarrhea, and any positives I notice such as improvement in coat or nails.

So does she like them though? Well, yes, she nom nom them quickly and wanted more, but for the first few days I’ll stick to one of each to see how she handles them.









Seems to be 10/10 in terms of taste, she munched it down fast and sat there waiting for another. Had to let her lick the light powdering of it off my fingers too, a winner in flavor. After a few hours, no problems at all, just a happy dog; not causing stomach issues is great, no fun picking up runny poop when I go outback.

Day 2, still just giving her one of each for now, and will bump it to the recommended 2 per day for her weight soon since she seems to be having no problems. Cleaned dog poop up today before it starts to rain since soggy poop is just not fun to handle.

Stepped her up to 2 of each treat now, still no problems and she loves them. Probably not needed but I give her 1 of each in the morning and one of each at night just to avoid giving her a bunch of treats all at once.

Gave her a peanut butter jar today, probably her all time favorite thing. Amazing how long her tongue is, she can reach all the way to the bottom of the jar.

Took me this long to realize all 3 treats are slightly different color. Tried to toss all 3 to her at once to see which she went for first. It was all of them, she ate all at once. These really are a hit with her though, every time I walk past the counter I keep them on she stops and sits there waiting for one.




Also I hate tile counter tops, the grout always looks dirty. Need to replace those soon.

She's still inhaling these treats, so far they seem to be among her favorites. Tired after playing outback, she likes to lay on the floor in the kitchen to cool off.

Daily treat time; can't say I've noticed a difference in health or anything but she enjoys these, and given the price point it's not bad at all forthe amount you get.

Well, guess I'll end this here with some final thoughts. She loves the treats, and over the whole course of this log not once have they given her any problems like dharma or an upset stomach. Given the price I think I'll grab some more of these, they are something she likes and any help to her long term health is well worth the money, at the 2 of each per day recommended a tub lasts 45 days. So if you want to get you dog some supplements, and give them a little shield to health and happiness I can definitely say the Controlled Labs line is fantastic option.
