https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-jersey-boy-pit-bullsA 3-year-old New Jersey boy was mauled to death Tuesday by two pit bulls that entered his backyard. His mother suffered severe injuries.
Carteret Mayor Dan Reiman confirmed the toddler's death on ********. The attack occurred around 4:30 p.m. and the boy was airlifted to a hospital where he later died.
The mother was also taken to a hospital where she remains. The family had moved to the area from New York City, WNBC, the NBC-owned television station in New York reported.
The dogs, owned by a neighbor, somehow got into a fenced area in the backyard where the boy and his mother were, Patch reported. Reiman said the dogs were not registered with the city, which is required by law, and were euthanized.
"As a small community, our Carteret family mourns the heart-wrenching loss of our young neighbor and we pray for this young mother and family in this time of unimaginable grief," he wrote.
A man told the WNBC he heard the mother's pleas for help during the attack. Neighbors told the station the dogs had never acted aggressively before.
It was unclear if the owner of the dogs will face criminal charges.
Prosecute the owners.

I say this in practically every pitbull thread...as an animal lover, I would gladly accept the responsibility of slowly gutting each and every one of these man-made abominations until they were wiped from the earth.
There is absolutely nothing that these dogs offer that you can't equally get in another breed, other than their propensity to kill humans. Owners could easily have any other breed that would offer companionship, or loyalty, or security, or athleticism, or whatever else you get a dog for. They need to fess up and admit they only choose pitbulls because they want a reaction out of people and/or they feel it makes some kind of statement about themselves, like "I am in charge of this "alpha killing machine", therefore I am more alpha".....fukkin pathetic.

But the doctor at Westwood Veterinary Hospital posted on ******** Tuesday that to him, the dogs actually appeared to be pit bulls, with four pit bull-mix puppies and one female who looked like an Australian shepherd mixed with “something with short legs.”
Pit**** owners should be executed when their dog kills a child

The only abomination is your fuking pathetic physique and you have the audacity to post on a bodybuilding forum. The only thing you wiped from this earth is your own hair q ball.
Any dog with that head shape and snout is considered to be a "pitbull". Bull terriers, boxers, cane corso, mastiffs, APT, Staffordshire terrier etc. So anytime theres an attack from these multiple of breeds theyre considered "pitbull attacks". The real issue is the owners and they should be sentenced. Any animal shelter you go too is packed with neglected pits because garbage low income PMs like to get them for the way they look, abuse them , and when they can't take care of them no more they dump them in the street or fight them. I have a 2 year old American pitbull terrier mix who i rescued from the Humane society when she was 2 months old, not because she looked "alpha" but because she was so skinny I was able to see all her bones. Never once has she ever shown any aggression, shes actually a big fat hairy puss , scared of little dogs that bark at her.USAF Veteran

There’s always one of these idiots defending these mistakes in every thread. You’re saying the same thing every chitbull owner says about how she’s not aggressive or whatever. They never are until they flip that switch for no reason and kill kids, adults, or other pets.
Nobody confuses a beautiful Canes Corso with an ugly ass pitbull, stop coping. Boxers don’t look anything like them either, nor do mastiffs. I’m not sure why the breed exists to this day. It’s too small to be effective as a protector dog like a Caucasian Shepherd or Kangol, but it’s just big enough to maul kids and other small prey. If you want energy and alertness get a Doberman. Much more beautiful and far less likely to turn on you. Want a friendly companion get a golden, or lab or even a Great Dane.
I always carry my gun on me when walking my dog because he’s a little dude and anytime I see one of these beasts I’m on high alert. Whole breed should be wiped out.Lurking since '05 - the days of VS gorilla/cloud/goku threads

FUKN LMFAO " I always carry my gun on me and are on high alert." You're another scared no avi ******* , I bet you order your groceries cuz you can't leave your home without a gun LMFAO!!!!!!!!
I know people who have been bit by pitbulls, and they all had the same thing in common, the dog wasn't socialized, when it fuked up it was abused.
Pit bulls are the number 1 Abused, neglected, and euthanized breed in the world. .

Stop trying to blame an animal for being neglecting and not trained correctly.

Where are you getting this info?????
When i went to the shelter to adopt a dog I wasn't even looking to get a pit, when I got to the shelter I saw what is now my dog in the corner of the kennel skin and bones looking on the verge of death so I adopted her. fukn LOL at making a life decision as big as owning an animal based solely on the fact that it can make a filthy kunt wet.
I'm insecure but youre too scared to post an avi on a bodybuilding site.... My dog is a big cuddly wimp , she doesn't look "tough" at all but keep sitting in fear.

Can't vouch for pitbulls as I've never owned one but there are many breeds out there (especially bully types) with the potential to be extremely deadly and that is why they require a firm hand to train them from early on.
My 16 month year old Cane Corso is already 140 pounds and is much larger and stronger than a pitbull. We had to socialize him from day one with other dogs/people/ and children. The breeder also doesn't just sell them to anyone off the street. He required us to attend his breed specific training before we were allowed to be on customer list and it is in our contract that we had to attend after acquiring the puppy. He does this because he doesn't want his dogs in the wrong hands down the road leading to incidents like in the op
Pitbulls unfortunately often times are backyard bred and owned by trash owners so they have little chance to succeed as a good pet. That being said there are many breeds that were bred for the sole purpose of being a working dog and have no place in a family home.Stats: 6 foot, 240 pounds
