    I eat pretty much the same thing everyday too. Just spread out.

    I do 3 meals a day and 2 dessert/snack a day. It’s just how I prefer to eat doesn’t matter if you do 1 meal a day or 10.

    Day is usually like this

    Meal 1 French toast -647 bread, egg whites and sugar free maple syrup
    Meal 2 turkey melt - 647 bread and fat free cheese or air fried chicken with baked potato
    Meal 3 protein dessert or fruit
    Meal 4 air fried chicken or turkey meat (burgers,tacos...) with veggies
    Meal 5 rice cakes with chocolate or 100 cal popcorn with 140 cal serving of hot Cheetos mixed together - lots of volume

    That's the kinda thing I would do too. I just don't get eat all of you calories at once.

    Doubt you could find empirical evidence proving its less optimum than 5 meals a day. I mean obviously if you were on a bulk it’s gonna be tough to eat enough at one time

    I did this in the 90’s when I was in the military. I would wait till 4pm to eat so I wouldn’t eat more calories. It’s hard to overeat when you consume 2000 calories of healthy food in one sitting. But waiting till that time to eat killed me and happier now eating throughout the day.

    I do recall some studies about muscle protein synthesis and it being optimal to spike it about 4x per spread as evenly as you could. But still not sure if I’d even notice a difference. I’ve never tried gaining on a small window. Probably wouldn’t do OMAD but I would stick to like a 20 hr daily fast. I could easily hit two big meals in 4 hours and be at maintenance or in a slight surplus. I can eat quite a bit in one sitting.
