...or will this be strictly political?
From what it looks like the judicial system seems to be frightened to give this guy a fair trail.
Read an analysis by Jonathan Turley, and he said facts/evidence are being omitted, because of the potential meltdown that will ensue if Chauvin is charged with manslaughter.
Also, jurors are afraid of being a part of this case, due to the fact that this could damage their personal lives post trial.
If this is going to be settled by politics why not just sentence him to his 15 years and be done with it?
Doesn't sound like the evidence is that important.
Thoughts?

I need him to get off for the acceleration though.
Everything is riding on this.
The system/media created something they can't control - Antifa/BLM - We can leverage that but we need Chauvin to walk or catch a very light sentence.
Turning the golem against the master.
This is happening in Portland - Right now - We need this everywhere - Every rural and gated community needs to feel this.
You have to understand nothing will change while people remain comfortable. The media will lie to them, they will placate them and the people will not understand until they experience it first hand.
We need this

If you're an average john q public on a jury making 40-50k a year supporting a family and you know liberals will do everything they can to at a minimum ruin you financially if not threaten your family if you come to a conclusion they don't like, are you going to do your civic duty in the face of that?

Both autopsies called Floyd’s death a homicide. That performed by the Hennepin County medical examiner cites “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.”Misc Crypto Crew

The jury will be comprised of nutcases in one direction or the other, or people too dumb to get out of jury duty.
Nobody, without a vested interest, would want to be anywhere near this trial.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The facts are that a guy who was complaining he couldn’t breath choked to death while the officer knelt in his neck for 8 minutes. That’s a long time. I only way I can remotely see how the officer doesn’t get at least manslaughter is if it’s provable that once Floyd swallowed the drugs he was dead - like couldn’t vomit them up or anything because once that knee went to the neck the office was clearly 100% in control - as intended.

Hi Boomer
From the article:
"The autopsy states that Floyd had ******** and methamphetamine in his system. The level of ******** was extremely high, and documents from the autopsy attribute the following statement to Andrew Baker, Hennepin County’s chief medical examiner: “******** at 11 ng/ml — this is higher than (a) chronic pain patient. If he were found dead at home alone & no other apparent cause, this could be acceptable to call an OD [overdose]. Deaths have been certified w/levels of 3.”"I am a rational animal who occupies the intermediary position between angel and beast"

There is video of him doing the same thing in an arrest from 2019, crying out for his mother, saying he was scared, refusing to comply with instructions (while he was swallowing pills) he did the same shiit this time, while he he crumpled up counterfeit money and trying to hide it. He has a known history of this tactic to avoid arrest.
