I started working out again for the first time in over 2 years 6 weeks ago. My question is how much of the 12 pounds I've gained is muscle.. I had a classic beer belly when now my beer belly is gone but I've steadily gained weight. From what I've read the most muscle I should gain a month is 2 pounds tops. How could I have gained 12 pounds? FYI I always weigh myself first thing in the morning on a empty stomachs and after using the bathroom.
