I was at a bar that wasn't observing the shut down restriction, nor seating limitations the week between Christmas and NYEs.

Apparently someone in the neighborhood was in a huff about it cause the cops showed up - asked everyone to leave or if the bar would close and that was a no. So they left and the poor guys had to deal with an irate neighbor yelling about why they let them stay open and they said they couldn't do anything about it.

They still aren't doing seating restrictions. Not sure if they have been fined yet.

It's now been almost 2 months since New Year's. Despite every expert promising a "surge upon a surge" in cases from holiday travel, the Midwest continues to trend down with some of the lowest numbers seen in months - regardless of the restrictions each state had in place.

Inspectors who work for the mayor, will issue fines, they'll have us on scene when they do it.
