So if they do have a higher GDP, who cares. First of all, they have to spread that around to 4X as many people. You have 4X the workforce and yet still haven't surpassed the US, and depend on other countries to buy your products to make that GDP. The only reason you can sell your stuff is by price point. You depend on the innovations of another country and their tech industry to even make those products to sell? I wouldn't call that winning. Do you think the average Chinese citizen has it hear as good as the average American?

You are so right. As China becomes more capitalist we become more communist. Governments of the US (state/federal) telling private companies who they can and cannot hire and what their management/executive makeup has to contain. Now it's starting to infect our military. Yeah they live in the USA. They think that the media is just a political arm and that the USA has corrupt "voting" because of the mail in stuff and they say it feels fake. Apparently they had a lot of political corruption in Taiwan in the 90s it reminds them of. I also know a lot of mainland China people who think we have no room to talk about the Uighurs because our cops kill black people and we keep them in slums. Oddly enough they are also very racist and don't like black people or Muslims, so it's not that they care per se, more just they see the USA as a hypocrite nation. They also say most of what we hear about China being so strict is all lies and it's not nearly as bad. I don't really have an opinion on all of it personally, but I know about 50 Chinese because of my work.
