The move itself was pretty lame and unimaginative but I will say he did make it look pretty stylish and was able to get some decent height and hang time on it given his size. I believe this was before age and injuries caught up with him though.

Because Macho Man had the GOAT smash finisher but Hogan's Leg drop was supposed to be scary because of how huge in size his leg was but let's look at this instead:

Times were different, brah. Movesets were sort of basic in Hogan's early WWF run. Also remember that Hogan would set up the leg drop with a body slam. So really his finisher was body slam + atomic leg drop.
