You are trying to install a game on a flash drive wtf do you expect lol

Also you downloaded the game and now gotta install it? That’s not how it works. Game installs as it downloads.

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

Get better internet and a bigger hard drive and try again. If that doesn't work, get a new laptop. I would never install to a flash drive or USB external drive.

See my rig in sig? 2TB nVME SSD (really 1.81TB after OS files and formatting)? Got that 5 months ago.

Prior to that, for basically 9 years, I had a 250GB SATA SSD. Yup, 250GB, which was more like 220GB after system files and formatting. It was sufficient enough for quite a few "big" games at the time simultaneously like Battlefield 4, WoW, Borderlands games, Fallout games, Skyrim, etc. I mean shoot, look at those games, Battlefield 4 was 30GB, Skyrim was 12GB lol. But then closer to 2016 my system was starting to really show its age. When games like Infinite Warfare came out requiring 70GB, and GTA V in 2015 came out on the PC needing 60GB. Now a days there are some games that exceed that, even. CoD Modern Warfare is 225GB currently.

Point is OP, don't be like me and accept having a 250GB SSD for nearly a decade. I remember the hassles of deleting games, installing games, sometimes in a routine way for when I knew I'd be playing multiplayer games ahead of time with friends, versus playing something solo. Get yourself at least a terabyte, or even 2TB if you don't want to have to think about it for a decade.

Speed matters too though, these days you'd want a M.2 nVME SSD, but it doesn't make the craziest difference, like you'd see when comparing Hard Drive Vs. SSD.

You are right about that, it has been tested to death. I decent SATA SSD and mid range NVMe SSD are indistinguishable when it comes to game loading and ultra high end NVMe drives cut into budget for things like CPU and GPU, which are far more important.

2TB 860 EVO would be my choice:

Haha the 850 Evo 250GB SSD from 2014 was what I had before... and before that just a normal hard drive... still kicks ass for what it is I guess, but m.2 is a lot easier to install, very convenient to put on a compatible motherboard, versus having to allocate SATA rack space for a SSD in your case. Can't beat the 860 EVO 2TB's value though. Gotta pay $100+ more for a 2TB M.2.

Lol. Just plug it in and let that SSD dangle wherever it may go. No spinning disk = no need to securely mount.

    FUARK!

got everything up and running. been just running around assaulting people and chit for hours.

GTA V graphics are 7 years old now but still mind=blowing for me because I left off with san andreas....

Didn't imagine this chit would still be fun for me at age=33 after over a decade hiatus.

I was a consolecel in highschool so there was never an issue.

Honestly kind of sad I've missed out on over a decade of gaming. I will probably insta-buy another (better) pc so I can play red dead 2 as soon as I finish GTA V.

Just ordered a controller and hdmi cable so I can hook the laptop to the big screen.

    PUMPED
