Honestly, this book helped me understand miscers after YEARS of confusion. It's a real book with real academic resources put into it, not a joke or some wild libtard theory.
Like how come I've NEVER met a gym bro who is totally straight? Or why can chicks mess with other chicks and not be ostracized? Why is misc pretty much the only culture that constantly tests the boundaries of homosex by "joking" about it (much truth is said in jest)? Why are so many miscers clearly in denial - is it politics?
If I could assign ONE book for miscers to read, this would definitely be in contention. Aren't you curious?

A different look at heterosexuality in the twenty-first century
A straight white girl can kiss a girl, like it, and still call herself straight―her boyfriend may even encourage her. But can straight white guys experience the same easy sexual fluidity, or would kissing a guy just mean that they are really gay? Not Gay thrusts deep into a world where straight guy-on-guy action is not a myth but a reality: there’s fraternity and military hazing rituals, where new recruits are made to grab each other’s penises and stick fingers up their fellow members’ anuses; online personal ads, where straight men seek other straight men to masturbate with; and, last but not least, the long and clandestine history of straight men frequenting public restrooms for sexual encounters with other men. For Jane Ward, these sexual practices reveal a unique social space where straight white men can―and do―have sex with other straight white men; in fact, she argues, to do so reaffirms rather than challenges their gender and racial identity.
Ward illustrates that sex between straight white men allows them to leverage whiteness and masculinity to authenticate their heterosexuality in the context of sex with men. By understanding their same-sex sexual practice as meaningless, accidental, or even necessary, straight white men can perform homosexual contact in heterosexual ways. These sex acts are not slippages into a queer way of being or expressions of a desired but unarticulated gay identity. Instead, Ward argues, they reveal the fluidity and complexity that characterizes all human sexual desire. In the end, Ward’s analysis offers a new way to think about heterosexuality―not as the opposite or absence of homosexuality, but as its own unique mode of engaging in homosexual sex, a mode characterized by pretense, dis-identification and racial and heterosexual privilege. Daring, insightful, and brimming with wit, Not Gay is a fascinating new take on the complexities of heterosexuality in the modern era.

lol
Tyhey book is stupid and absurd. White men? What is he's pink? Orange? Purple? Yellow? Like it's something special they're white.
I told my truth of god-honestly being hit on and talked dirty to by several "straight," homophobic guys while living and doing independent film in Texas. My experience is there are a lot of guys that are in no way attracted to "average" or fat dudes- but if you're muscular and hot, their dick will get hard watching you and they'll want u to blow them and will even **** the hell outta you then go back to their wives/gf.
I've been shocked so many times by these homophobic "straight" guys calling me "***" only to get ****ed/blow those guys because they know i don't judge and i don't subscribe to labels. I never hit on any guy- they all hit on me. People should be allowed to be who they are and do wtf they want and get comfortable in their own skin.
Keep mfs out your business. You'll never know who i am and i only post bod pictures on here and I'll keep it that way. I workout 5-6x a week and I've competed in an all natural comp. There are a LOT of "straight" guys that mess around with guys - trust me on that. They only **** with discreet, smart ones, not flamboyant flaming show stoppers.
I only **** with other slim/athletic/ muscular guys and personally think it's hot af to **** with guys in the low. I've ended up blowing and even gettin ****ed by those same guys callin me "ph@g" so i actually get off on it.
I know you homophobes will be pissed with that but who gives a ****? That "muscle ph@g" u see at the gym you're getting blown by em a week later.

Even if any of the miscers were hittin' me up- that's our business. I don't do that. As i said- adults have the freedom to do wtf they want. Get comfortable in your skin and keep mf OUT your business. I've hooked up with more than a few guys at the gym-most we exchange numbers and meet elsewhere- some guys god-have come onto me in the showers. Shouldn't be doing that **** though- but these guys came onto me and they were hot af. I never knew white guys had big dicks like that.

sounds like a lot of it has to do with the taboo of it all. I think its why i enjoy having affairs with co workers. No one in the room but you two know the dirty things you say and do to each other and the secret makes it hotter. I've been told by a couple women that they like how im super chill or formal in public but a complete perv 1on1. Theirs something about it.~Prince of Manlets~

A lot of those guys had gf/married- you just don't know and don't bother asking me. If you see me at the gym, all you'll see is muscular, straight appearing black dude and you'll have no clue wtf i do. The key is, i don't feel bad about sheet, confident in who i am, and give no phucks cause i don't put myself out like that. My business = my business.

If you bang other dudes you're gay or bi, end of the story. There's no such thing as being straight and having gay tendencies or just "experimenting".
Nothing wrong with homosexuality but dont kid yourself. Sexuality is a scale with gay on one side and straight on the opposite end so it makes sense that a lot of guys would fall in between.
Saying that these guys still count as straight is a lie.

Was expecting how to be gay for dummies leaving satisfied. Satisfaction is satisfaction, Nom' sayin'. Where are the skinny twinks when they need to be bottomed and dominated it's not gay but sometimes use grindr.
