I turned 50 in January and I feel like I’ve only accomplished a small fraction of my life goals. I have a potentially lucrative hobby, I’m an amateur comic book artist, and I plan on publishing through Gumroad and Amazon Kindle.

My uncle is 70 and that dude is doing whatever the fuk he wants, before lockdown he was on holiday all the time, right now because he can't travel he bought a car and is restoring it, he is also really good at woodwork so has made a load of useful things. Has also made an outdoor kitchen for a bbq, oven a shed, an outdoor dining area that extends onto the back of his house, he surfs and is in better physical condition and is a better surfer than me, man stays on top of technology too so isn't falling behind in the technological advancements of the world either.
He does a lot more and is a lot more active with his life than people that are 30. Ded fkn srs.

I'm more positive, I cant believe the negativity shown to getting older. I would confidently say life get's better after 50, there's a lot to be said for more wisdom as you get older. At my age I've never been so well off and enjoy a quality of life I never dreamed of when younger.
I'm in great physical and mental state, I don't even feel remotely old, I can do anything now I could when I was 20, perhaps somethings even better!Tennis balls?...........my Biceps are as big as Grapefruits!

You're good. It's part of the human brain to run through these emotion and thoughts. It will come and go.
What you can do is keep your mind occupied by adding new hobbies. Maybe try learning new language, create charities, taking up new skills (painting, cooking, etc). Mentor can be a great rewarding experience to add.
I've been through these depressing thoughts since 2020 and it's definitely not fun. But I added new goals. Executed one or two, now I'm jumping into real estate and excited. Although I'm just 35, I know these type of added goals can remove these negative thoughts and help me push forward or else I'd give up too."Become Better You - Physically and Mentally"

You’ll see life at 50 just like you saw it at 25 or 30. You’ll be a little slower, take longer to recover, etc. But you’ll have money and some more smarts and freedoms you haven’t known in 20 years. The worst part is knowing you’ve crested the mountain and are on the downside of life. Still another 30 or so years is still pretty phuking long to go.
