The fact that you have to stop using them to charge them probably pisses me off the most but the whole experience just sucks as far as I am concerned.
I went looking for a solution and found this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EHSX28M
I've been playing around with this all day and its exactly what I was looking for. Plug your wired earbuds in and pair it to anything bluetooth. The battery lasts forever but if it gets low you can plug in a charger and keep using them.
INB4 OK boomer.
At least I don't walk around with what looks like jiz dripping out of my ears.

Not future proof, 3.5 is legacy in the industry now. I wont ever need to replace this device because bluetooth is industry standard.
The last thing I want is to be tied to a phone for literally 1 feature. Now I can literally buy any damn phone I want.
Some laptops are even dropping 3.5, same solution. Literally the same solution for anything bluetooth.Eat in a deficit to lose weight.

I use the kind that wrap around your ears and are connected with a wire that hangs behind your neck. I cannot use plain earbuds when doing active things, especially jogging, they just fall out. Although I haven't tried using plain earbuds in years, do the current ones do a better job of staying in your ear? I see all these people wearing the airbuds thinking how they heck do they keep them from falling out? srs question
