I just had mine repaired - combined rhinoplasty and septoplasty. My plastic surgeon wasn’t successful in straightening my nose, it appears, so I’m probably headed back to the operating table for a revision...

How did you prepare?

It’s been awhile so I can’t really remember preparation tbh. It was the usual like no food after ??:?? of course but not much beyond that. The post surgery was what I remember, had packing up nose (I was told they can do it without sometimes but still woke up packed). The after appts were strange af when they put that camera into your nose and pulling the packing out feels like it’s coming from your brain srsly.

Mine was a little different though because I also had a cyst in one of my sinus cavities so hopefully you won’t have to deal with all that.

If you have sinus issues, they’ll be fixed for a bit but they’ll more than likely return.

I just remember I had bad reactions to weed in my early 20s. Would give me back pain the next day.

I was doing some research on it, the allergies wont necessarily go away but the ent doctor has two options to reduce the turbinates on the outer wall.

Apparently with the deviated septum, the opposite side turbinates are usually enlarged.

the weirdest thing was the splints sewn in your nose and it was so groce when they yank them out and theyre covered in snot lmao
