Correct. Both came here before their homeland were stabilized, so both groups were pretty rowdy and wild. Shortly after, they began becoming educated in Scotland and Ireland. It’s interesting to know that the Irish took to politics and that’s what ultimately helped them get out of their poverty as a culture. The southern blacks never did find their way out though.
