Some birth control lasts for years, it's not just the daily contraceptive pill these days.

Eg mirena iud or the rod in arm, are actually difficult to remove and is a lot easier to just leave it in there.

Assuming you are talking about the pill, most chicks don't cycle on/off. Once they start taking the it, they typically stay on it for a long time, provided it isn't causing any issues. Even then, she is more likely to try a different brand and see how that goes before stopping it entirely.

hormones need to be taken on time. if not taken at the proper time you could have adverse reactions, or it may not work effectively.

Pretty much no one takes it properly. I have a friend who was a massive sloot in college who had a kid from some random guy this way.

As mentioned they could still be on the pill, but not reliably.

I read a hypothesis about women on the pill having a different preference for men than when off the pill. Makes you wonder how messed up that would be to have relationship/marriage issues at some point due to no longer taking or switching birth control.

Yes you’re taking hormones every day and ofc hormones influence sexuality and dating and mating preferences.

Well an iud you can’t just take out. It’s a medical procedure to get it in and out and they last 12 years

Many girls are on birth control to also regulate their hormones and again starting and stopping and starting is a pain.

No matter what if it’s not a relationship with trust that is monogamous, you should wear a condom

Also, reading above how do so many people not know there are non hormonal iud’s

Iuds are the most effective birth control on the market, better than rings, pills and condoms and the copper ones are the oldest type of female birth control
