One of the Obama administrations I did not vote, I forget which one and I'm not sure why. Also prior to Obama, I did not vote because I did not care about politics.Life is easy when you take personal responsibility

A lot of these Obama voters have voted repub/libertarian except for Obama. Speaks to the weak candidates put up by the GOP in those years. Voted repub/libertarian from '04-'20 but Dem in '08 and '16 but went right back on the GOP train and plan on staying. Learned my lesson.
Virtue is its own reward.

Can confirm. Knew quite a few people who leaned conservative and mainly voted (R) yet voted for Obama. You hit the nail on the head.. the Republican party has lost a lot of swing voters/moderates because of chit candidates. Now with things being so polarized it's hard to be moderate.. the candidates are just so hyper-right or hyper-left.
